Last night I had a side job I could have went to, but I chose to come home early and spend it with my family. We played Pit, had a blast, ate dinner together as a family. I got to tickle the little ones, and get tackled by the big ones. Great times talking with my wife about plans for our kids this fall. Your toughest opponent is the one inside your head. When your trying to get that right amount of protein for the day don't over do it on supplements. A good rule of thumb is if you eat a protein bar, or shake as a quick breakfast, eat a lean meat with lunch. Always rotate supplement with natural protein, or 100% natural lean protein is best. Yet it can be difficult due to our fast paced lifestyles. Also did you know that your body can only absorb 25-30 grams of protein per snack/meal? So if your slamming protein shakes and bars boasting 50, or 60g of protein per serving. Don't do it, or divide it into 2 snacks. Anything beyond 30g is going straight through your system. Don't get me wrong I recommend a shake and/or bar supplement every day your active, just be smart about it. Actually, it may be closer to the range of 90% of the battle. See someone who has the physic you want, useless they have a freakish metabolism they are eating the right foods. Chances are they are not eating seconds either. Exercise is huge, but without the right eating habits you will get minimal to no gains. If I'm going to challenge and encourage you I have to lead by example.
