Yes it has been awhile since i have posted here on thefightthatmatters.com One thing I learned in my time away is that health and fitness and seeing people reach there fullest potential IS STILL MY PASSION! Sometimes taking a step back helps you to see that what you are doing is what you are meant to do. No matter what people say, how they treat you, or how hard it is to reach success. I will be posting a couple times a week again and I'm looking forward to being a part of your daily success to reach your goals and dreams. Thank you for understanding this short time away and keep believing! Don't for get to check out The Story Of The Month page and read Amy Wright's story, its a good one!
10 minutes at 15 grade incline on the treadmill at a pace of 4.5, 3 sets of 225 pounds on the squat rack, 1 set of 45 pounds on the squat rack of 50 reps, and one set of 50 reps just the bar, leg extensions, leg curls, hip adduction, hip abduction... All in supersets! Then I finished it off with the dark chocolate non-dairy vegetarian meal replacement shake from AdvoCare! And it tasted great!
So your 8 days into your 2014. How's it going so far. If I've learned anything in 2013 it's that 2014 will be what you make of it. nothing more nothing less. If you put everything you've got into 2014 it will give you everything it's got back.
Tonight I crushed it at the gym. burned 425 calories on the treadmill, slammed the squat rack, burned another 100 calories on the treadmill, legs, my best abs workout ever! Last night I put in the P90X video to get it set for today, and my 1 year old son Garrison started doing push-ups. He knows what there for! Now you have no excuses! Go get it done! Only 28 days into the 90 day challenge and I'm down to 217 from 225. My record since high school is 214. I'm also noticing my 36 jeans are getting very loose. Will I actually get down to a 34? I was 20 years old the last time I could do that! Today in church I was moved by my children worshiping God. That's it, nothing more. =o) The family did great for their 1st 5K! Maria and the 3 youngest came in at the end, Asher was 192nd, Bethany was around 150th (she won't actually say), I was 45th, and Cason was 39th out of 300!!! Cason won a Chick-Fil-A party tray, Asher won a gallon of apple cider, Bethany won a gift certificate for 31 bag, I won a tshirt, Maria won 2 holloween books, Kindsey won a Subway coffee mug! I would say it was a successful adventure! This morning as a family we are running a 5K to support Sam and the Whetzel family as they continue to fight cancer. Video footage to come this afternoon! This morning I did Yoga X and my whole day I felt so good. Relaxed muscles, calm mind due to relaxed neck, head, and shoulders. Thank you Lord for yoga stretches! (In case you are wondering, no I do not do the meditation that can go along with yoga). When they say to clear your mind, I worship The Lord. Tomorrow is exciting! Core Synergistics!!! |
