Today in church I was moved by my children worshiping God. That's it, nothing more. =o)

The family did great for their 1st 5K! Maria and the 3 youngest came in at the end, Asher was 192nd, Bethany was around 150th (she won't actually say), I was 45th, and Cason was 39th out of 300!!! Cason won a Chick-Fil-A party tray, Asher won a gallon of apple cider, Bethany won a gift certificate for 31 bag, I won a tshirt, Maria won 2 holloween books, Kindsey won a Subway coffee mug! I would say it was a successful adventure! This morning as a family we are running a 5K to support Sam and the Whetzel family as they continue to fight cancer. Video footage to come this afternoon! Tonight the Surratt family had a fancy dinner followed by a dance party! It was so much fun to dance with my wife and girls. I even got to dance with Asher, and Garrison. I'm so bad at dancing, and Kindsey made sure to tell me when I messed up, or forgot to do something. =o] Tonight I start with Advocare Spark and Catalyst. Then P90X Plyometrics with(?) people. I think this qualifies me for group fitness training certification. I think I might have burned a lot of calories, just maybe. I end This work out with Advocare Post Workout Recovery! I'm still holding at 219 lbs! So comment with your guess of how many people you see in this post. I want my kid's to go farther than I go in life. If I am not able to push my children high than I was ever pushed then its not worth it! I want them to excell far beyond what I could ever reach. As long as it's in what God has called them to, and not them living out my dreams. I realized as I was standing there watching the smile on my son Cason's face as he was being fitted. I never did this. One year ago we couldn't rub two pennies together without losing one of them. This was not a foreseeable option. Now thanks to God, my job, side work, and renewed vision it's happening right before my eyes. I also know, because of what God has been revealing to me, that this is just the beginning...of The Fight Of My Life! I WILL BE MORE! God is able to do more than we ask, or imagine! Go out and be more to today than you've even been. Go out and bless, give, provide strength and love more than you ever have, and see where God takes you! Last night I had a side job I could have went to, but I chose to come home early and spend it with my family. We played Pit, had a blast, ate dinner together as a family. I got to tickle the little ones, and get tackled by the big ones. Great times talking with my wife about plans for our kids this fall. As Toby Mac says. Family is so important in life. Days like today help me to remember that on a megaphone. Due to the nature of my job I have been extremely busy with water extractions, and its the season that JMU students are moving back in. Although the pay is great I haven't seen my 3 youngest since Sunday evening. It was so good to get out of bed this morning and have my 1 year old cry, because he thought I was leaving without saying goodbye and talking to him. I also got to go climb into bed with my 4 year girl and say good morning to her and carry her down stairs for breakfast. I still believe in the day I will be able to be home a lot more, and have my families needs met. |
