Tomorrow morning begins my biggest physical challenge ever. The dawn is rising...Tomorrow breaks the curse that says I can't, I won't, I could never, that's to hard, I don't need to do that to...you fill in the blank. I'm doing this as much for you as I am for me. If I at 39 can do this then you most definitely can! If I can do this then you CAN do that thing you've been procrastinating on. Don't settle for good. Only settle for best. I will be posting daily of my progress with updated photos every 2 weeks. Join me in the journey. Take the 24 day challenge with me. Get P90X app on your phone.

The biggest physical challenge in my life...10-01-13

Something's I do in life for myself. Some things in life I do for others. This is one of those things I do for you. Why? Let me put it this way. Looking back over my successes and failures in life I began to see patterns. If there was an area in my life I couldn't seem to overcome obstacles, and no one else was overcoming obstacles that I could relate to, I would never push myself to the level of overcoming. However, if there was someone overcoming obstacles I could relate to, everything changed.

Example:

I played basketball in high school, so basketball was a very big part of my life. I wasn't the best player on my team by any means, but I loved the sport. This was also during the time Michael Jordan was in his prime. As Jordan was breaking records, and taking basketball to new heights, I was believing I could be a starter. As I fought through playing basketball endlessly with my friends, and improving my skils. I discovered I had one advantage. I was left handed! The summer between my sophomore and junior year I remember telling myself I was Michael Jordan, and developing a left hook shot. The next 2 years I earned the starting strong forward position. Those were the 2 best years of my high school life. I was able to score on players better than me, be a major decoy, and spead out the defense to open up opportunities for the stars of the team. Point and case. I want to be your Michael Jordan. It all begins 10-01-13...I hope to see you there.

Truth Be Told

The truth is I'm not a morning person at all. I never have been. However, staying up until 2am I was made for. So I always hated work since it started early in the morning. UNTIL August of 2011 when I was introduced to Spark a healthy energy drink from Advocare. Since that beautiful day August 18th, 2011 I have been a Morning Champion! I drink Spark and within 3 minutes feel great like I've been up for hours. It wipes away the morning fog that used to cloud my thinking in the early hours. No crash, no jitters, just healthy great tasting energy. If any of this sounds good to you comment on this blog with your email, message me on Facebook, or go to my contact page on this website and let me know. I can get you some too, and you can start revolutionizing, and conquering your mornings too! This stuff is to good not to share. Have a week, and make it great!

Don't be crazy with protein.

When your trying to get that right amount of protein for the day don't over do it on supplements. A good rule of thumb is if you eat a protein bar, or shake as a quick breakfast, eat a lean meat with lunch. Always rotate supplement with natural protein, or 100% natural lean protein is best. Yet it can be difficult due to our fast paced lifestyles. Also did you know that your body can only absorb 25-30 grams of protein per snack/meal? So if your slamming protein shakes and bars boasting 50, or 60g of protein per serving. Don't do it, or divide it into 2 snacks. Anything beyond 30g is going straight through your system.

Don't get me wrong I recommend a shake and/or bar supplement every day your active, just be smart about it.

Actually, it may be closer to the range of 90% of the battle. See someone who has the physic you want, useless they have a freakish metabolism they are eating the right foods. Chances are they are not eating seconds either. Exercise is huge, but without the right eating habits you will get minimal to no gains.
